"Relax + Release" in Session I (7/21-7/25) as you focus on embracing, releasing, surrendering, and moving with ease. You'll meditate, receive Reiki, engage in gentle, yin and vinyasa flow yoga, savor salt therapy, reflect, journal and engage the senses with creative projects.

"Radiate and Recreate" in Session II (7/28-8/1), a week dedicated to igniting inspiration through movement and playful self-expression. You'll set intentions, move and stretch, laugh and spark joy. Receive Reiki, learn about crystals, invigorate the soul with a drum circle, and so much more.

"Rest and Reset" with us in Session III (8-4-8/8), the perfect opportunity to slow down and savor the power of rest, reflection, and deep renewal. Discover the benefits of sound healing, pull soul cards and journal, open the hips and settle into spinal twists with Yin yoga, synchronize the mind and body, discover the power of breathwork and cultivate inner peace.

About Michele: Michele’s wellness journey began as a modern dancer and dance teacher. She served Connecticut public schools for 31 years as a teacher, administrator, and advocate for equity, mindfulness, and arts integration (1992- 2023). She believes that “Educating the mind without educating the heart, is no education at all.” (Aristotle). Michele earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Emerson College), a Master of Science in education and a 6th year certificate in school administration (SCSU). Additionally, in 2013, Michele studied meditation at Omega Institute and completed Mindful Schools certification. As a principal in Bridgeport, she led a flagship social-emotional learning school and was honored as a Yale University Changemakers Fellow in 2016. Michele completed 200 HR RYT at Bend Yoga in 2023. In 2024, she traveled to Bali where she studied at Ulu Yoga with like-minded yogis from around the world, earning advanced 300 HR RYT. Additionally, Michele is a Reiki level 2 practitioner and sound healer. Michele is finding peace and happiness living at the beach, traveling, spending time with her grandsons, and sharing her passion for yoga and mindful living.
About Melissa: Melissa has served Connecticut public school children and families for over 31 years as a passionate early childhood educator and advocate for holistic learning. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Southern Connecticut State University, a Master’s of Science degree in Early Childhood Education with a PreK–Grade 6 certification from Southern Connecticut State University, and a 6th year degree in Learning and Thinking from The Graduate Institute. Beyond the classroom, Melissa served as a program coordinator and facilitator at The Graduate Institute,(2017-2023) guiding educators through transformative graduate programs rooted in integrative, reflective practice.
Melissa believes deeply in holistic, lifelong learning. Her personal journey—including overcoming cancer and raising three sons—inspired her to expand her work into the healing arts. She completed her 200 HR yoga teacher training through BEND Yoga, is attuned in Reiki III under Jean Marconi at Re:Mind Wellness Boutique, and is certified in Vibrational Sound Healing with Vicki Gould.
Melissa brings gentleness, strength, and authentic care to everything she does. She finds peace in outdoor adventures, yoga practice, traveling, and spending time with her three sons. She is passionate about creating spaces—both in the classroom and on the mat—where people of all ages can feel safe, supported, and renewed.
