ARICA BOLANDER, LCSW

Arica brings a holistic and integrative perspective to clinical social work, informed by over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, and families across school, community, residential, and clinical settings. Her approach emphasizes grounding, emotional regulation, and the importance of creating balance while navigating life’s challenges.

She draws from trauma-informed care, family systems theory, and evidence-based practices to support clients in building resilience and meaningful, lasting change. Arica prioritizes the development of trust and views the therapeutic relationship as foundational, creating a safe and collaborative space where individuals feel seen, heard, and respected.

Through a strengths-based and person-centered lens, she works alongside clients to deepen self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and foster growth aligned with their personal values and goals.

Arica earned her Bachelor of Science in Sociology, with a minor in Psychology, from Southern Connecticut State University in 2006. She received her Master of Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University in 2011 and was inducted into the Beta Rho honors society in recognition of her academic achievement.
